The RIB Archives...

Reading In Between: my first community organisation...

A self styled platform for storytelling, RIB for me was more than just a passion project. It came in the light of friendship aiming to nurture their love for writing into entrepreneurial success. And while I may have snapped the idea, it was all our collective work that carved the stones of RIB into the perennial sculpture it became later.

We schooled off in 2016 after moving beyond the fundamentals of recreational reading. We engaged and our assessed our reader choices, and basis feedback we received upon the completion of our pilot project, we dived straight in the world of content writing.

Striking the waves of micro blogging and poetry - to proses and virtual books we laced and perfected as many threads as we could to bloom into a rafflesia of content writing. Which later sprawled right into action with the advent of visual storytelling in 2017. We started making cinemagraphs to learning the art of comic writing. And by late 2017 we spawned our first ever comic that personified life choices of a locomotive (read here).

We have quite a few comics now that I'm sure if you read will help you recharge your mental battery.

A dose of RIB

Working at RIB was like hugging a tree...

...the comfort level of a dream and a fairy tale entwined in a cosy faraway land of nothingness. Each day that we lived, we nurtured a life, an echo of expression entailed with a vision to spread warmth in the lives of those who soak in it. Just like a tree wandering in the mist with the semblance of oxygen & life.

RIB was the victory lap we took everyday the minute we rose from the bed...

Self-love is the food for your soul. And just like your body, it needs nourishment on daily basis.

Is love really that complicated?

There's no definite answer to why a love story gets complicated? But sure there's a perspective to it...

The road to kindness

We can all agree that kindness comes from a deep sense of empathy, but then where does empathy come from?

Modern Woman?

Launched at the onset of carousel posts by Instagram, the long form content writing, or what we'd like to fondly call it as 'Black Blog Book', was our latest arrival in the space of poetry & storytelling. A cutting-edge Reading In Between innovation that stole the show for a good week before getting copied.

'Modern Woman' that I'd like to share with you today was a gifted piece from our celebrated writer and Co-creator Geetika Palta.

A Child Who Needs You

And this one, from your very own, with the title A Child Who Needs You. If I be honest with you, I'm not a celebrated writer per se haha, but this little piece was caught being stargazed in the eyes of whom I'd like to call as 'the former stars of my life'. Whose shine is still gracing my life...

The Imperfect Angel

Zeenia Sharma is one of the most fascinating writers I've had the chance of working with. Her resonance with poetry is beyond what I could fathom in that time and age. Not sure if she still writes (I hope she does), but till the time we reigned supreme at RIB, she was a force to reckon with! Thank You for gracing my life with your words, presence and intelligence Zeenia!
